Users Menu

The Users menu in IXC ACS is an essential tool for managing access and permissions within the system. It allows administrators to create, edit and manage user accounts, assigning different levels of access and responsibilities according to the needs of each function. This menu is essential to maintain the security and organization of the system, ensuring that each user has access only to the functionality necessary for their specific tasks.

- Log in to the IXC ACS.
- In the main menu, find the icon represented by several people or the Users option.
- Click to open the panel and explore the options available.
Configuration and User Management
1. New User Creation
- Click New User.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Full name
- Password
- Group (define user permissions group)
- Set the appropriate access level for the user.
- Assign specific permissions as needed.
- Click Create User to finish.
For a secure password, use a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, special characters and at least six digits.
- Existing User Edition
- Access User Menu
- Find the desired user in the user list.
- Click the edit icon next to the user name.
- Update fields as needed (name, email, group, etc.).
- Click Save to apply the changes.
3. User Deactivation
- Access User Menu
- Find the user you want to disable in the list.
- Click on the removal icon.
- Confirm the action in the dialog window to disable the user.
4. Permission Management
- Access the Users menu.
- Select and click Edit on the desired user.
- In the User Group field, click Edit.
- You will be redirected to the User Group screen.
- Click the Access Permissions button.
- Select or uncheck the check boxes to grant or revoke access to specific features. Permissions may include:
- Access to the dashboard
- Device management
- System settings
- Generation of reports
- Mass changes
Create permission groups to facilitate the assignment of common accesses to users with similar functions.
