Routerteen
Introduction
Routerteen is a device simulator designed to facilitate service when it is not possible to access the actual customer's equipment. With it, it is possible to select manufacturer, model and firmware version, and generate a simulated device within the IXC ACS. It's also possible Close a real device (which has MR installed or has the option enabled) and paste it into any ACS system for testing.

Value Delivery
- Facilitates problem playback: Allows you to recreate the client environment with the same model, firmware, and configuration, making it easier to identify and reproduce flaws.
- Reduces customer dependency: It is not necessary to ask the customer to leave an equipment available for testing or bench. Support gains autonomy.
- Agility in attendance: With a simulated device ready in seconds, the call analysis and solution are much faster.
- Don't use licenses: The devices created by Routerteen do not count on the ACS license, allowing unlimited testing without additional costs.
- Allows risk-free testing: Changes, resets, commands, and settings can be performed without risk of overturning real customer access.
Routerteen functionality
- Routerteen allows the support team:**
- Clone the Manager device;
- Use this clone. as if it were a real device, including to reproduce failures and validate adjustments.
- What? All of it. without consuming licenses from CHW devices.
Any change made does not affect the client's device. The simulator uses only a copied model, which represents the functionality of the equipment. Because it is a simulation, there is no response return from the device, such as Faults (errors) that would normally be presented when creating or changing settings on a real device.
Device Catalog
The EPC simulator functions as a catalog with all available devices on the system. This catalogue allows you to create a simulated equipment from user-defined parameters.
- Select Manufacturer, Model and Firmware Version.
- Click Simulate device.
- The IXC ACS will automatically create the simulated equipment, ready for testing and validation.
This feature helps to quickly identify specific behaviors and failures of certain models.
The creation of a new device in RouterTeen is performed only via database and only by users with permission, usually developers.
The manager displays how many RouterTeen devices are currently running at the base, CPU and memory consumption, and allows you to pause or delete a device.
Final considerations
Routerteen becomes an essential tool for the support team by providing a safe, fast and faithful environment for testing and simulations. With the possibility of cloning real devices or creating fully simulated equipment, support gains more autonomy and accuracy in diagnosis, reducing rework and increasing efficiency in care. In addition, the use of Routerteen directly contributes to the continuous improvement of technical support, allowing analysts to study, reproduce failures and validate settings without impacting customers or consuming additional CHW licenses. This functionality strengthens the investigation process and ensures more assertive and agile solutions for system users.
