Mass Parameter Change

Introduction

Changing mass parameters is an exclusive functionality of technical support that allows changing configurations on multiple devices simultaneously through TR-069 protocol.

Example

Parameters

Parameters refer to the values that regulate the operation and characteristics of a system or device. They enable the configuration and customization of the performance of software, hardware and services, ensuring that they operate according to specific user or desktop requirements.

Access

This feature is exclusive to use technical support!

Change process

The parameters will be sent based on the information configured in the system; once the devices connect, the ACS will send the parameters. If the information is set to 5 minutes, this means that every 5 minutes after the last device connection, the requested parameters will be sent.

Change Report

  • Total affected devices
  • Status of success/failure
  • Date and time of execution
  • What? Device technical information: model, hardware, firmware, serial number (SN) and details about which parameters have been changed.

Access Restrictions

  • Ensure security of changes
  • Prevent mass problems
  • What? Ensure technical validation
  • What? Allow quick fixes if needed

Final considerations

Changing mass parameters is a powerful tool that requires specific technical knowledge and should be used with caution to avoid negative impacts on the network.
