Speed tests are key to setting up new devices or certifying devices already configured on the system. But do you know how to guide your team or client to perform these tests properly? In this article, you will find valuable tips.

How to perform a Speed Test? ​

Client scenario: If the customer wants to perform a speed test, it is important to follow some practices:

  • Perform the cable test for more accurate results.

  • Pause downloads or transmissions on other devices during the test.
  • Connect only one device during the test.
  • Repeat the test for greater accuracy.
Correct Way to Perform Speed Test

  1. Connect a computer via cable to the router.

  4. Run the test at least twice.
Incorrect Form

  • Use your mobile phone.
  • Access any test site.
  • Perform the test while using the internet intensely.
